terms and conditions
welcome to amble! these terms and conditions ("t&cs") govern your use of the amble app and services ("services"). by accessing or using amble, you agree to comply with these t&cs. if you do not agree, please discontinue using the app.
1. who can use amble
1.1 you must be at least 18 years old to use amble.
1.2 by using the app, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will not impersonate others.
2. user responsibilities
2.1 you are responsible for all content (e.g., messages, photos, fun facts) you share on amble.
2.2 you agree to use amble in a manner that is respectful, lawful, and consistent with its purpose of fostering meaningful conversations.
3. prohibited activities
you may not use amble for the following:
inappropriate content: sharing explicit, pornographic, violent, or graphic images, or content that is offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory.
illegal activities: engaging in any unlawful activity, including fraud, harassment, or exploitation.
harmful behavior: sending threats, hate speech, or engaging in bullying or abusive behavior.
impersonation or misrepresentation: pretending to be someone else or providing false information.
spamming: sending unsolicited messages, advertisements, or promotional content.
data mining or hacking: attempting to scrape, hack, or exploit the app for unauthorized purposes.
4. content guidelines
4.1 amble is a safe space for authentic conversations. you may not share:
nude, explicit, or sexually suggestive images
images or messages that glorify violence, abuse, or self-harm
content that promotes illegal substances or activities
4.2 amble reserves the right to review and remove any content that violates these t&cs.
5. moderation and enforcement
5.1 we monitor user activity and rely on user reports to enforce these t&cs.
5.2 if you violate these t&cs, we may take action, including but not limited to:
warning you about the behavior
temporarily or permanently suspending your account
reporting illegal activities to law enforcement
6. child safety & csae prohibition
6.1 zero tolerance: amble strictly prohibits any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (csae). this includes, but is not limited to:
sharing or requesting sexual content involving minors
grooming, solicitation, or attempts to exploit minors
possessing, distributing, or attempting to access child sexual abuse material (csam)
sexualizing or encouraging sexual conversations with or about minors
6.2 enforcement:
accounts engaging in csae-related activity will be immediately suspended or terminated
amble will report suspected csae violations to the appropriate law-enforcement agencies as required by law
6.3 user responsibility:
you must not share, request, or encourage any content or interaction that involves minors in a sexual context
if you encounter csae-related content or behavior, you are required to report it via the in-app reporting tool or email support@ambleproject.com
7. user anonymity
7.1 amble provides an anonymous environment to encourage meaningful connections. however, anonymity does not shield users from accountability.
7.2 if required by law or in cases of abuse, amble reserves the right to disclose user information to law enforcement or other authorities.
8. reporting violations
8.1 users are encouraged to report violations of these t&cs, including inappropriate content or abusive behavior, via the in-app reporting feature or by contacting support@ambleproject.com
8.2 amble takes all reports seriously and will take appropriate action promptly.
9. intellectual property
9.1 all content provided by amble (e.g., prompts, app design, features) is the intellectual property of amble. you may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without prior written consent.
9.2 by sharing content (e.g., fun facts, responses), you grant amble a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content for the purposes of operating and improving the app.
10. disclaimer of liability
10.1 amble is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. while we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation.
10.2 amble is not responsible for:
user-generated content shared within the app
any harm, emotional distress, or damages resulting from interactions within the app
11. termination of use
11.1 amble reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these t&cs or engage in activities harmful to the community.

12. governing law
these t&cs are governed by the laws of singapore. any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in singapore.
13. changes to these terms
amble reserves the right to update these t&cs at any time. users will be notified of significant changes through the app or email. continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
